  • Design Engineers: Candidates should have experience of mechanical design in a bespoke environment, a background in rotating equipment would be an advantage.
  • Purchasing Engineers: Candidates should have an understanding of engineering drawings and basic production processes, also be very organised and have the ability to handle numerous concurrent projects.
  • Sales & Application Engineers: Candidates should ideally have a background in rotating plant engineering and the ability to communicate ideas.
  • Technicians and Workshop Staff: Candidates should have experience of working in a precision engineering environment.

SSS offers a unique opportunity for suitable candidates and operates apprentice & graduate training schemes for less experienced candidates who aspire to working in a world-renowned professional environment.

We are passionate about the recruitment and development of apprentices as they are the future of our company.

We provide hands-on experience alongside a professionally recognised qualification and the opportunity to learn a variety of skills within a high quality engineering environment.

Our next application process starts in January / February 2026 for a start in September 2026. Before joining we provide you with the opportunity to learn more about our company, how we work and to meet the team, including fellow apprentices. When you join us you will have the support of a manager, a mentor and your education provider.
